Privacy policy

What we collect

• Resume content. The PDF or DOCX you upload, plus the text we extract from it. Stored against a short, unguessable id.
• Job description text. The posting you paste, plus a target job title if you provide one.
• Account email. Used for one-time login codes and to associate purchases with your account.
• Generation results. Score breakdowns, missing keywords, ATS warnings, rewritten resumes, and any cover letters you generate.
• Operational data. Timestamps, request counts, and error logs needed to keep the service running.

We don't set advertising cookies, we don't use analytics that profile you, and we don't collect data we don't need.

How we use it

• To score your resume against the job description and produce the breakdown.
• To rewrite the resume and (optionally) generate a tailored cover letter.
• To export the rewritten resume as PDF or DOCX.
• To authenticate you and gate paid features against an active purchase.
• To prevent abuse and rate-limit excessive use.

We do not use your resume content to train models, and we do not sell or share it with advertisers.

Third parties we send data to

• A large-language-model provider (under contract, not for training): receives your resume text and JD text to generate the score and rewrites. Configured to not retain your inputs for model improvement.
• An email provider: receives your email address to deliver one-time login codes.
• A payment processor: receives the card / payment-method details directly. We never see your card number.
• Hosting provider: stores the database and serves the application. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

How long we keep it

• Resume text and scores: kept while you have an account so you can revisit your dashboard. Generated rewrites are pruned after 30 days of inactivity. You can delete everything sooner from your dashboard.
• Login codes: hashed and removed after use; expired codes are pruned within 7 days.
• Operational logs: 30 days, then aggregated or deleted.
• Payment records: kept as long as legally required for tax / accounting (typically 7 years).

Your rights

• Access · request a copy of the data tied to your account by emailing us.
• Erasure · delete your account and all associated data with one click from the dashboard. Cascading deletes wipe scores, generations, cover letters, and purchases.
• Correction · edit your account email by re-running the OTP flow with a new address; old account remains until you delete it.
• Portability · download generated resumes and cover letters as PDF or DOCX directly from the editor.
• Withdraw consent· stop using the product and delete your account; there's nothing else to opt out of (no marketing emails, no ads).

Cookies

We use one essential cookie: a session cookie that keeps you signed in after you verify your email code. It contains an opaque session token and nothing else. We don't use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.
